2001年3月1日我抵纽约时已是深夜了, 应新加坡航空公司駐纽约辦事處的邀请 , 從新加坡起飞到美国要在空中不停的飞21个小时 , 因為航程太远 , 之间必须在臺北停畄 , 然後越过太平洋抵美國西北岸的城市西雅圖 , 西雅图的地理位置處在四环都是川水环抱的優美景色 . 西雅图有两大举世闻名的工艺企业 . 制造波音飞機的航空业 , 與發倔於 80 年代的微軟 Microsoft 电脑公司 , 開創微軟的Bill Gates 比尔蓋茨就是生长在西雅圖，西雅圖的地理风水應該是蕴藏着非常優美的條件 . 地灵人傑 . 從西雅图再飞纽约要 5 个小时.

美 國 建 國 之 初 國 內 並 不 太 平 ，也 不 夠 民 主 ，１８１４ 年 總 統 府 就 遭 英 國 軍 破 坏 燒 掉 一 部 分 ，后 重 新 粉 刷 成 今 天 的 白 色 ，解 放 黑 奴 是 南 北 戰 爭 的 起 因 ，此 戰 爭 是 美 國 建 國 以 來 的 唯 一 內 戰 ，也 是 被 喻 為 兄 弟 之 間 的 內 斗 ，死 傷 百 万 人 ，勞 民 傷 財 １２ 億 美 元 之 多 ，第 １６ 任 總統 林 肯 因 為 力 主 解 放 黑 奴 而 在 任 內 于１８６５ 年 遭 暗 殺 。在 南 北 戰 爭 期 間〔 １８５１ 年 到 １８６３ 年 〕，在 距 白 宮 東 南 ２ 公 里空 曠 的 小 丘 坡 處 ，建 立 了 著 名 的 首 都 國 會 大 樓 〔 Ｃ Ａ Ｐ Ｉ Ｔ Ｏ Ｌ 〕 。 該 建 筑 的 冠 頂 是 一 具 人 像 塑 身 ， 冠 頂 高 ８７ 米 約 ２５３ 呎 。 順 便 要 提 到 的 是 在 地 球 另 一 面 中 國 ， 當 時 是 太 平 天 國 的 洪 秀 全 等 正 与 大 清 皇 朝 打 的 熱 火 朝 天 ， 時 間 也 是 １８５０ 至 １８６４ 年 。
華 盛 頓 紀 念 碑 高 ５５５ 英 尺 ，１８４８ 年 始 建 ， 但 因 為 內 戰 而 停 建 了２８ 年 ，１８８４ 年 建 成 。 作 為 華 盛 頓 ＤＣ 的 中 心 樞 紐 ， 它 是 立 于 白 宮 總 統 府 的 南 邊 約 １ 公 里 處 ; 國 會 大 廈 西 邊 約 ２ 公 里 處 ; 林 肯 紀 念 館 的 東 邊 約 １ 公 里 、之 間 有 長 形 水 池 相 映 。 及 完 成 于 １９４３ 年 紀 念 第 三 任 總 統 杰 弗 遜 紀 念 館 北 邊 約 １ 公 里 。 高聳 的 紀 念 碑 就 立 于 華 盛 頓 ＤＣ 五 大 建 筑 物 的 核 心 ， 同 時 也 是 最 高 的 建 筑 。 除 了 首 都 的 冠 頂 外 ， 在 華 盛 頓 ＤＣ 再 也 沒 有 高 于１２ 層 樓 的 建 筑 物 。 華 盛 頓 紀 念 碑 成 為 統 領 華 盛 頓 ＤＣ 的 唯 一 制 高 點 了 ！
波 多 美 河 〔ＰＯＴＯＭＡＣ ＲＩＶＥＲ〕 就 在 林 肯 紀 念 館 背 后 不 到 １００ 米 處 ， 經 西 北 、 西 、 西 南 向 南 筆 直 流 去 。 著 名 的 五 角 大 樓 國 防 部 就 在 波 多 美 河 的 西 南 邊 、 河 的 東 北 邊 正 是 華 盛 頓 紀 念 碑 及 白 宮 等 建 筑 。 以 華 盛 頓 紀 念 碑 為 核 心 的 制 高 建 筑 中 心 ， 配 合 - 東 , 西 , 南 , 北 - 的 紀 念 館 及 國 會 大 廈 及 總 統 府 － 白 宮 。 它 象 徵 了 尊 嚴 及 獨 特 格 局 ，配 合 了 波 多 美 河 經 右 邊 的 西 、 西 南 向 南 筆 直 流 去 ，不 就 是 八卦 的 先天位 ，后天位 來 過堂 而去嗎 ？

My studies in geomancy have lead to my belief in the importance of expounding the truth of geomancy principles by examining historical and empirical examples. In 1994, I did an on-site study of two most prominent and controversial leaders in modern Chinese History, Mao Zed Dong's birthplace in Chaos San; and Chiang Kai Shack’s birth place in Sic Co.
On 8 March 2001, I was queuing to visit the White House in Washington D.C. The temperature then was 6 degrees Celsius and I felt the cold of the breeze. It was then that I observed that the White House, which is situated at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, sits at 11 degrees north facing 191 degrees South. There are circular fountains at both the front and the back of the main building. Built in 1800 after the death of George Washington, the assembling of the building coincided significantly with the death of Quean Long, Emperor of the Zing Dynasty, who passed away on 7 Feb of the same year (the 3rd day of the first lunar calendar month).
America has had a tumultuous history of civil war and slavery, In 1814, the White House was partially burnt by the invasion of British army, who saw the new world as of their many colonies. It was later rebuilt and repainted in white, a tradition maintained to this day. Liberating the slaves was the main cause of the civil war between the north and the south. The sixteenth President, Abraham Lincoln, was assassinated for his movement to abolish slavery in this "war between brothers" which killed millions and involved some 1.2 billion.
In an effort to resolve the civil war and unite people during 1851 to 1863, the famous Capitol building (Congress) was erected at about 2 km on a molehill south east of White House. The top of the crown is a human figure standing at 87meters, approximately 253 feet. Coincidentally, or in correlation with the building up of the American capitol, there was serious fighting between insurgents and the Zing army from 1850 to 1864 on the other side of the globe. .
The Washington Monument, standing at 555 feet was erected in 1848 but was only completed in 1884 because of the civil war. It is the tallest building in Washington D.C and the pivotal point of the state. Apart from Capitol building, there are no other buildings higher than 12 stories. It sits at about 1 km from the South of White House. Capitol building is situated about 2 km east of the monument and 1 km west is the Lincoln memorial, built in 1922 with a longitudinal fountain with reflecting effects. About 1 km south of the Washington monument sits the Jefferson monument built in 1943. Potomac River from Northwest to west-to-south west towards South is approximately 100 meters behind the Lincoln monument. The Pentagon is located on the South west of the river and on the North East are the white house and other monuments.
This combination symbolizes the dignity and honor of the country and in itself is a unique geomancy creation.
Any supremacy in culture is not just to guide the citizens but also to verify the truth of the I-Chin principles, the "eight diagram mathematical calculation", the logic of innate hexagram and cultivated/enhanced hexagram. This is evident in America where the geomancy creation of the building in Washington D.C was made without any consideration or influence by the geomancy principles but nonetheless still led to its establishment as a super power in the world.
In the beginning of the eighteenth century, the England was on its rise to replace Portugal, Spain and Holland as a colonial power. By the mid nineteenth century, the British Empire had colonized countries in almost all the five continents and British flag was flying high on countries as far away as the newly discovered Australia and New Zealand as well as countries with thousands of years of civilization behind, including places such as Egypt and India. However, by the middle of the twentieth century, soon after the Second War World, the effects of British colonialism began to fade away. Into the political and cultural void came America, the new world power.
America though not a colonizing country has, in the course of its development,established itself as a super power in terms of its economy, technology and military. This is an achievement second
to none and idolized by many.Hence my observations on the correlation between the
construction of America's seat of power and the nation's subsequent rise as a world
power has boosted my confidence in I Chin and its principles
